Industry Overview:

The World Tourism Council has estimated annual growth of Indian Hospitality and allied industries to exceed 20% over the next 10 years with India forecasted to be placed in the top 4 most preferred tourist destination in the world. Almost 10% of all the jobs created in next 10 years will be in hospitality and allied industries.

India has witnessed a gradual emergence of a substantial affluent cross section that is willing to indulge in lavish offerings in domestic tourism. On the other hand, improved connectivity and communications has led foreign tourists to explore India further and also visit the country for medical tourism. Hospitality industry is going through a boom phase in India and is experiencing huge footfalls as a favorite vacation destination of foreigners and Indians alike.

Rising number of international sporting and cultural events, advent of low-cost airlines, growing corporate traffic and an increased interest in India across the world has led to a drastic boom in the Hospitality services Industry across the country. At the same time, improved connectivity and communications has led foreign tourists to explore India further and also visit the country for medical tourism. All these factors have made it imperative that people serving these sectors are qualified, certified and exposed to world-class training to be able to deliver services up to international standards.
